Blakes, widely regarded as one of the first luxury boutique hotels of its kind in the world, is celebrating its 40th anniversary year. Blakes has become iconic thanks to its stunning design, timeless elegance and utmost discretion. Each of the 45 rooms and suites were individually styled by the hotels founder and celebrated designer, Anouska Hempel, with a recent renovation of the hotel’s late-night haunt, Blakes Below, in 2016. The hotel is also home to Blakes Restaurant, an all-day dining concept offering seasonal Mediterranean-inspired dishes from their recently relaunched menu designed by Head Chefs Peter del Campo and Mariano Russo.

For the summer months, the Blakes Courtyard provides the perfect setting for al fresco drinking and dining. Throughout August, the courtyard will transform into the Blakes Gin Garden; serving gin cocktails prepared with their bespoke 40th Anniversary Gin produced in partnership with Portobello Road Gin.
